The Journal Project Winter Edition

The Journal Project Winter Edition

Welcome to your Winter Box. I am so excited that you have joined me on this journey.  I hope you love everything you received inside and you're excited to get started!  I aim to provide a guide and inspiration for you.  If you are new to journaling, feel free to copy the page layouts as I have created them, but I would love for you to find your own creative style as you explore the different products and options.
You will need to gather all your supplies and any extra things you might need.  I always like to start with a black fine liner pen, a ruler, some scissors and some sort of adhesive, to use alongside the supplies in the box.  You can also gather any mementos you have gathered, little notecards, envelopes or other papers you might have collected - like I have done in the layout below.

You can then decide what sort of layout you would like to create.  Are you looking to create a decorative page, like this one...

or more of a planner style page?

I start by sketching out any lines, calendars, drawings, icons etc I want to add in pencil and I do a basic layout with stickers, paper etc so I can get an idea of what the final product will look like. Once I am happy with my design layout, I get to work inking, sticking and so on!  The joy is largely in the process!  Relax and see where your creativity takes you! If you make a mistake, don't worry about it. You can stick something over it, glue pages together, tear them out, or just embrace it.
My examples use mainly supplies from your box.  I have added in a few items and I like to add a gentle reminder that it doesn't always have to involve complicated supplies!  I have added 2 pages where I have simply used markers and fine liner and I love how they both turned out.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns and I would really love it if you share your work with me!!  I love to see what you are creating and to be inspired by you!!  ENJOY your time CREATING!
